Josh Allen In Tears As Bills: The NFL play-offs delivered high drama on Saturday night as the Buffalo Bills were knocked out in heartbreaking fashion, while the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks booked their places in the Conference Championship games.
Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen was visibly emotional after the Bills fell 33–30 to the Broncos in an overtime thriller. Despite another standout season, the reigning NFL MVP saw his Super Bowl dream slip away once again, extending Buffalo’s long wait for a championship appearance.

Denver, who entered the play-offs as the AFC’s top seed, made full use of their home advantage. The Broncos led 23–10 in the third quarter, but the Bills refused to go quietly, twice rallying to force the game into overtime. However, Allen’s fifth turnover of the night proved decisive, allowing Denver to kick the winning field goal and secure their first play-off victory since their Super Bowl triumph in 2016.
The loss was particularly painful for Allen, who now holds the unwanted record for the most play-off wins by a quarterback without reaching a Super Bowl. “It’s extremely difficult,” Allen admitted after the game, fighting back tears. “I feel like I let my team-mates down.”
While Denver celebrated, the victory came at a cost. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, who threw three touchdown passes, suffered a broken ankle late in the game and will miss the remainder of the play-offs. Head coach Sean Payton confirmed the injury shortly after the final whistle, casting a shadow over Denver’s championship hopes.
Earlier in the day, the Seattle Seahawks delivered one of the most dominant performances of the play-offs, crushing the San Francisco 49ers 41–6. Seattle set the tone immediately with a 95-yard kick-off return touchdown and never looked back.
Quarterback Sam Darnold earned his first career play-off win, while Kenneth Walker ran in three touchdowns as Seattle’s defense overwhelmed an injury-hit 49ers side. The Seahawks now move one step closer to the Super Bowl, which will be held at Levi’s Stadium on February 8.
With the Broncos and Seahawks advancing, the NFL play-offs are shaping up for an explosive finish as the road to Super Bowl 60 continues.
